Viele Informationen aber bleiben ungenutzt, weil sie mit modernen Suchwerkzeugen nicht auffindbar sind. Forscher vom Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken haben Verfahren entwickelt, um Musikstücke aufzuspüren und miteinander vergleichbar zu machen. Das ist nicht nur ein Gimmick für Musikliebhaber, sondern könnte sogar die Ausbildung von Musikern revolutionieren.
